Education
Education is a central component
of St. John's. From the nursery to
adult Sunday school classes, learning
is alive and well!
We are dedicated to becoming disciples
of Jesus Christ. In order to achive
this goal, educational opportunities are
readily available. Sunday school classes
are alive with a variety of teaching
methods and exciting materials.

Heifer Project International
Samaritan's Purse
St. John's is very active in missions,
both through budgeted expenses and
through special giving of time, talent
and gifts. Mission emphasis is a key
to the life of this church.
Volunteers from the church are involved
with Meals on Wheels, Greensboro Urban
Ministry
agencies, Habitat for Humanity,
Youth for Christ, Hunter Elementary School,
Mclver School, Weaver House and
the Masonic Home.
Our "Christmas in July" Samaritan Purse
"Shoebox"(Operation Christmas Child)
project was beyond our wildest dreams.
With involvement of "friends" and members,
this ministry produced 350 "Shoeboxes",
which were delivered to Boone for distribution
throughout underprivileged nations in the
world. We also took in over $2000.00
for postage.
God doesn't want
shares of your life - He Wants a controlling interest.
Give God what's right -
not what's left.
Are you wrinkled with burden?
Come to Church
for a faith lift.

John 3:16-17
16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and
only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life.
17. For God did not send his Son into the world to
condemn the world,
but to save the world through him. NIV
